October 14th Meeting

So much to do at the next meeting!!

The COLOR Swap will happen BEFORE the start of the meeting.

Swap will start at 6:30 and we will meet at the cutting table.

If we need more time, we can swap again after Show and Tell!

To make the color wheel from the Quilt Colour Workshop book  you will need fabric pieces 2.5″ x 7″.

If you prefer, you can bring 2.5″ strips and cut them to size at the swap.

We will be trading the cool colors of the wheel in LIGHT, MEDIUM, and DARK values.

Charity Quilt in Progress

Over the summer, our guild received a fabulous package of fabric from Hawthorne Threads!

IMG_2321Their donation included a fat quarter bundle of Hawthorne Solids and assorted scraps of printed fabrics.

IMG_2902IMG_2121What are we doing with all this yummy fabric?

We are making a quilt, of course!!

The blocks look like this…

Hope to see you Tuesday!
